When my empty cup
is filled with my morning coffee
I feel the warmth
as it reaches my empty stomach.
There is the movement
of pouring and emptying
a satisfaction of life
and the perk of the day.
Life needs to be empty
left to be filled with
what is there inside
that gives the perk of life.
As a Christian woman, the octave of Easter 2010 brought in me a vibrant promise on how to be a free person. Freedom means to be on top of my own ego, desire and mindset. An acceptance of the true self. In the Zen tradition, Sekito (Shitou in Chinese) said, "the expansive sky does not obstruct the floating white clouds". My free thoughts and feelings expressed in this blog is a witness that life is meant to be lived fully, freely, mindfully and joyfully.
