in his humble abode.

MAINTAINING FOCUS

I see beyond the present
what I hope for to achieve
I keep my focus
and allow my energy
to keep my essence
of being today.

I deal with patience
gentleness and kindness
the challenging moments
I maintain my focus
on the thing I hope for
when it happens, it happens.

INNERMOST

I get a sense of my innermost self
as I begin to fathom the beauty
and potentials of my existence
and "interbeing".

I see the untapped and unsearchable me
in the quiet of my senses
it is a convergence of my ancestors´ and parents´
in me and from others.

IT`S NEVER TOO LATE

A daring person I am

maybe a characteristic

I am born with

but I know how cowardice 

take me to the edge until

I am able to fly at last.

It is my dream I hold

in the depths of my being

A dream that is never too late

to dream once again

born out of illusions and realities

and purified by time.

IS TIME ESSENTIAL?

I don´t know if time
is a measurement
to gauge how many days
or how many years
I have been faithful.

Faithful to my husband
as we renew our vows
for fifty years
or kept my promise
for twenty five years.

Whether is it is a long
or a short commitment
to a relationship
time is an element
but not the most essential.

How we are made
how we become
as human beings
by our relationships
may matter more.

If what is left to me
is just a week or an hour
to achieve self-realization
and the summit of living life
then time is essential.

The parameters of time
is served and defined
because one has been
within the time permitted
from then and now.                                  


            

SILENT WAITING

Counting the tickling of the seconds
turning into minutes
minutes into hours
hours into days
days into years
years into eternity.

I have been waiting
waiting with a joyful hope
anticipating like a woman
giving birth to a child
not counting the pain
nor the struggles
silently waiting
for your coming.

TEARS

.

I feel the welling up of tears in my eyes
as thoughts and feelings meet
and my heart cannot contain
what is there left unexpressed.

Tears of joy, tears of hope, tears of sadness
they come, they happen without plan
it`s just a spontaneous nature
that one cannot comprehend.

I don´t want to cry but I cry
I don`t want to feel helpless
but helplessness comes
without me wanting it.

Tears of gladness, tears of realization
it comes, it happens
simply allowing this abundance
welling up on my eyes.... t e a r s.
