as I held this thought
a rebirth comes forth
a deep desire to newness.
New life as I venture
into the break of a new day
is a hope-filled grace
that invites me to life.
Life is an unfinished harmony
a thrill to see what's to come
my feet on the ground
to taste and relish the present.
The present brings me to future
a sense of filling up the space
while I wait and act
to what is here for me now.
