BUSY-NESS

I lack words and inspiration
to write a poem

my energies spent 

for the last week

organizing our new apartment

keeps me from creativity.

Series of activities 

are also addictions 

that keep one
from nourishing an interior world

silence and peace I befriend

to become my trusted companions.
