LOOKING THROUGH THE EYES

One lazy afternoon
I walked down the road
to enjoy the scenery
and breathe fresh air.

I fixed my eyes
on my right side
I saw a tree
that never noticed before.

I was full of surprise
how can I miss
not seeing this tree
full grown and green.

Right before my face
I realized, sometimes
I am seeing
but not seeing through.

Looking but not beyond
what my eyes can see.
Looking through
reveals the true form.

NEVER GIVE UP

Once a dream is found
never ever give up
to work hard
and arrive at it.

It does not matter
which way to take on
it matters most
how to get there.

Never ever give up
keep your courage
pulls you up
till you get there.

a veces me pongo segura
a veces no tengo la palabra

SHARING OF BREAD

Daily, I trust my sustenance
like all living creature
looking for bread and butter
and sharing leftover.

To satiate hunger
to quench thirst
to soothe pain
to embrace fear.

Our humanity....
is a call to unity
to dependence
co-interdependence.

Together we build
a place of harmony
where peace nestles
and airs symphony.

FREE AT LAST

It`s liberating, it`s pure joy
an overwhelming experience
free at last from the chain,
shadow and expectation.

Freedom from self-abasement
to self-esteem
from condemnation
to self-acceptance.

Free at last, it´s liberating
it is pure joy and happiness
finding the self as it is
freedom flies you up high.

LA GRANDEZA DE DIOS

El amor de Dios me hizo grande
en su grandeza veo mi pequeñez
a experimentar este amor es maravilla
un amor que no se agota.

BEFRIENDING NEGATIVITIES

As I welcome the day with bright and sunny face
I do welcome and say how are you anger,
hurt, discomfort and frustration doing?

It is ridiculous but true
befriending negativities
bring into the consciousness
its existence and its apparent
effect on our being
that may spoil and destroy
one´s behavior and pattern of living.


How are you today,  negative feelings?
I recognize you and we together
we sort things out and live better.

A bright sunny day awaits
and throughout the day shall pervade
positive ambiance around us.

TRUE LOVE

Deep down inside of me

lies my yearnings to love

and be loved.

A basic human need

that compels one to heed

a natural gift to humankind.

True love waits 

and sincerity is the essence

of loving without conditions.

JUST BEING

Just being is an art
to be there at will
when my antsy heart
is not at standstill.

To be in a place
to be with someone
to stay there
being there.

Just being is an art
impairs one`s decision
to get solution
and instead, wait.

To be there for a while
let things occur
may it happen
and not desire.

Just being in quiet being
is an art not doing
it is becoming
just by being.

THUNDER AND LIGHTNING

A marvelous sight to enjoy
when rain satiates the parched land
and the heat of the earth
evaporates and moves upward the sky.



Thunder and lightning appear
rolling noise, violent strucks
electrical charges -
a nature`s wrath and anger.

Intermittent rain
alternating thunder and lightning
till boiling tempers
calm down and subside.
