LA MULTITUD

Una multitud de la gente
me saludó con la sonrisa
una multitud de pájaros
me cantó su melodía
y bailaba en la armonía.

Una multitud de flores
en diferentes colores
las olas del mar
como una canción de cuna
me da la alegría y libertad.

Todos están en una multitud
bendicen a los multitudes
de gente que viven
los animales que viven
a los muertos que viven

UN SUEÑO MUNDANO

Es una broma de verdad
a descubrir una gran cosa
en un sueño mundano.

Como las cosas revelan
en un momento de fantasía
son los que valoro más.

Me imagino como el Señor
escribe recto su propósito
en la linea torcida.

CAMINATA DE CADA DÍA

La vida es una etapa
en cada momento es un paso
una caminata
en donde una llega
con dirección o ninguna.

En la caminata de cada día
podemos descansar
en cualquier momento
permite que la brisa nos empuja
y siente su temperatura.

La vida es una caminata
los pasos que hicimos
tienen sus retos y propósitos
no importa como lleguemos
ni el tiempo que nos tomó.

Caminando... caminando
hasta que podamos.

TO BE STRANGER, A REFLECTION

To be a person living outside of my homeland
is an experience of living my faith
more deeply and alive.

These days I had my happy encounter
the overseas Filipino workers in Panama
now increase in 4 years.

The loneliness of living in a foreign land
coupled with difficulties to communicate
and send money to feed people back home.

These are the situations OFWs live with
now I understand all the more
OFWS  I meet in other parts of the world.

Theirs is a history of heroism
for their families to be able to survive
and back here are different tales to hear about.

The sight of two

Two birds flying up high
two dolphins gliding
showing their elegance
within my sight.

A couple holding hands
as they walk together
to spend the moments
of unfathomable encounter.

A unique power in two
companionship and oneness
binding two personalities
to stay and walk together.

KAKAIBANG DAMA

Sa bawat pintig ng aking puso
paghinga sa aking dibdib
dama ko ang kakaibang sigla
upang mabuhay at bigyang buhay
ang kaloob-looban ko.

Anong isinasaloob natin?
Di ba `to ang nagbibigay daloy
sa bawat kilos at piglas
nagtutulak upang magpatuloy
bumuo ng bawat bukas.

Deeper Understanding

The blessing of growing in age
as I experienced it
is the acquisition of deeper understanding
and knowledge of who I am.

The knowledge of self
a key to knowing the path
of my great and potential self
that is beginning to unravel.

The destiny I control
as I bring forth and breath
the kind of future and life
I desire for myself.

Do Nothing

I want to stay with the present
and let life evolve in the present
and within the present being.

Emerging or not emerging
is not a business of mine
the universe takes care of it.


Doing nothing and do nothing
gives an abundant peace
within my whole being.

BLESSING OF PEACE

I wish you blessing of peace
peace in the heart
that soothes and calms
weary mind and body.


I wish for myself this peace
a blessing that sometimes
I don´t ask nor accept
the gift of peace

A blessing of peace
for my mind, heart, soul
and for my body,
this, I wish for you, too.

MY MORTALITY

The vulnerable state of my physical being
when plunged into the abyss of the earth
reflects back to me my own mortality.

My presence in the world
a temporary one in a given space
is one I take care of and respect.

Assuming responsibility and forming right relationships
enable to bring out the best in me
and live out the life I am called to live.

Not time bound

We live in a world

where time is a determinant factor

of what we do 

what we want to accomplish.

We speak of a universe

where time is just an illusion.

whatever we want in the future

it already exists.

We need to be attuned

to what we want

and in no time 

what we want shall happen.
