IGUANA, ATBP.

Iguana
Sa biglang pagsulpot ng iyong ulo
At sabay hatak sa katawan
Isang tili ng pagkagulat
Sapat na para ikaw´y tumakbo.

Usa
Mahinhin at mapupungay na mata
Malalim na pakikipag-ugnayan
Marahan na kilos
Maamo subalit mailap rin.

 The Bees & Me
Ibon
Malaya ang iyong paglipad
Habang umaawit at umiindak
Sa damyo ng bawat hangin
Kalayaan at kaligayahan ay hatid.

Paru-paro
Iba`t-ibang kulay
May dalang balita
galak at lumbay
Sa kanyang pagbisita.

TE BUSCARÉ

Lo siento en mi corazón
Te veo en mis ojos
Lo escucho en mis orejas.

Te buscaré mi Dios, querido Señor.
En el fondo de mi ser
Yo lo tengo.

Hazme una persona receptiva
de conocer a donde me guíes
como las ovejas lléveme a donde quieras.

Te buscaré siempre
por tu bondad y misericordia
me hiciste una persona tan bendecida.

SAYING GOODBYES

Each season of life,
spring, summer, winter and fall
represents and offers
beginnings and endings.

See full size image
Welcome to the crisp mornings
with its twittering birds
singing praises and
wishing one`s well-being.

Seeds beginning
Flowers thanking
Fruit filling
Plant dying.

Sun setting
towards the night
fading light
glittering stars.

Saying goodbyes to familiarities
and routines of life
welcoming new sights
starting anew.

PEACE

 peace on earth

Peace be with you! Shalom!
Is the existencial feeling of oneness with self,
integration and wholeness.

In the midst of turmoil and boiling fears within and without
a shielding tolerance that affects the core
and a gentle acceptance of its effects.

Calmness is a balm on the soul
a healing, a reconciling oneness
with the essence and with the being.

Peace be to you and all kindred souls!

SEDER MEAL

The Jewish Passover meal "seder"
at the sinagogue
is a sharing of the meal, ritual and prayer
and a privilege to partake of.

Jews and non-Jews a selected group
to get the experience and education
of the journey made by God`s chosen people
the "Israelites" from slavery to liberation.

Were not Jesus and Mary both Jewish?
With great respect to the source of my faith,
I do raise my cup of wine, to cheer you up
for this tradition cherished and carried on.

At Emmaus, when the disciples said where not our hearts full?
My heart is full for the sharing of faith and meal
together with our Jewish brothers and sisters.

... In thanksgiving to my colleague, Jewish Rabbi, Gustavo Kraselnik of the Congregación Kol Shearith Israel who invited me to share this great meal. ...

CROSS ROADS

Have you ever been on a crossroad of life?
When questions remain as questions
and unanswered but draggingly one needs to move on.

I have come across different crossroads in life.
at different periods in time
that pose a difficult challenge to continue on.

Be it on the right or left section of the road
we still reach the end of life`s destination
at which one could say... I have reached my goal.

The "writing on the wall" could still remain perplexed
as change can happen
and it can occur at any given time.

Crossing the roads need a reflection
a pause - to relish, look and see around
breathe in and breathe out the energy giving.

Life giving forces that pulls us out
from death onto life,
from our sorrows into joys.

SPRING TIME

PanamaUH-1NflightAug81002.jpg Howard AFB, Panama Canal Zone, Panama SA image by motor3mike

As I throd the walk path at Howard every day,
awareness of the self comes forth
like a bud of flower showing its beauty.

It is not easy, but I try to
finishing two, three, four rounds
are but accomplishments.

Witness to silent and deep breath
grass on the grounds with its morning dew
green vast of land with lush vegetation.

Morning sun, trucks and cars passing by
co-walkers, co-journeyers of that 2.5 kilometers long walk path.
animating me to do my 6.2 mile walk everyday.,

Loud prayers and silent prayers of the heart
said loudly and screaming at times
to the God who resides in my heart.

Was freeing, was moving, was consoling
at times so despairing, tiresome and frustrating.
How will I sustain praying while walking?

I did, I can do.  Praying is walking.
Walking is praying.
From there comes prayer`s answer.

Walking is a journey to self.
A journey of a soul reaching out to the true self.
True self that can hurt but liberate.

Happiness lies on the truth.
Truth brings freedom.
Freedom is walking the truth.

Embraced as One

When in a long lock down,  what is - becomes the  pattern  of a normal living. The space of time is long and open yet at the end of the day ...
